Aledo HS Homecoming Events: Sept 18-23, 2023

Homecoming Parade & Community Pep Rally
Monday: Sept 18 6:00pm
Cheer On Virginia Holloway our ’73 class Coming Home Queen

Margaret Suggests:
Park in the second AHS parking lot entrance off Bailey Ranch Road, since this is where the floats line up.
Sit in front of the gym for best viewing of the parade events. It’s a quick walk to join the community pep rally at the football stadium after the parade.

Aledo Class of ’73 Get-Together
Friday: Sept 22 3:00 – 6:00pm
Location: Railhead Smokehouse BBQ – 120 S. Rank House Road, Willow Park
Casual attire – Light appetizers will be served, you are responsible for your food and beverage charges.

Margaret Suggests:
Leave the Railhead about 6pm if you are attending the football game to get parked and into our “assigned FREE seating” for the football game.

Aledo HS Homecoming Football Game
Friday: Sept 22 7:00pm
Location: Tim Buchanan Stadium – 1000 Bailey Ranch Road
NOTE: There’ s a “clear bag policy” at football games.

Margaret Suggests:
Let me know if you and a spouse / guest will be attending so we can arrange enough group seating. No need to purchase game tickets, as the Class of ’73, we will get in because we are “honored guests”.

Aledo Ex-Students Association Banquet
Saturday: Sept 23 Visitation Starts: 4:30pm Dinner: 6:00pm (Casual Dress)
Location: Aledo Learning Center – 1016 Bailey Ranch Road (West of Administration Building)
Charge: $25 / person (includes meal and yearly dues)
Look for a letter to arrive in mid-August. Return the dinner form with a check ASAP, so they can plan accordingly.
NOTE: Our Class is honored this year! There will be a Silent Auction to raise money for the scholarship fund. Please let Margaret know if you have something to donate.
